My first pinball machine back in 1975: 1968 Gottlieb "Fun Park" Add-A-Ball model.
My experience in the amusement industry (condensed/in brief):
What started out as genuine interest in how these games worked as a kid back in 1975 when I was 10 years old (that's me on the right at age 10). I recieved my first pinball machine as a requested gift giving me a starting opportunity to get familiarized with how these, and later other coin-op games worked. Later on, grew into a full-time job deciding that this was what I wanted to do when I became old enough to work .....Unlike some other "repair people", my past experiences comes from working for 5 different amusement operators in Connecticut over the years (games place in/on locations for public use), Many different Large & Small venue arcades, Coin-Op Distributorship (Betson: Milford, Connecticut (now closed) & Philadelphia, Pennsylvania offices (King Of Prussia, PA). And, a game refurb/restoration company in PA for home market sales. In addition to what I learned on my own, I learned additional repair techniques from the fore-mentioned over the said 30 years...
Even before the internet, I would go "out on my own" to do home service repair calls in the area. Someone had to repair these machines when the situation arose from companies that I worked for that occasionally did sell their older games to local home market back in those days. (They did not want to be bothered with repairing games they sold to the "home market" back then....). These calls were always offered to me to perform on my own time and, I would set-up appointment then, go out and complete them.....Now back in Connecticut, I have brought my vast industry experience & repair services back to Connecticut & West Chester County, New York areas.
Home Arcade Repair Services is a small home-based on-site or in-shop repair service. We are not a large impersonal company!!! Feel free to view the other page links on the upper left corner of this page to learn more......

Eric, Nice job on the machine! Thanks for giving it a thorough look. It works better than when I first received it.
I wanted to Thank You for your recent visit to my home I have attached a referral letter for you to use in the future.
Eric recently spent an entire day at my house fixing a range of games: Megatouch Force 2004 (Upgraded to 2006.5 & Repair), Data East Simpsons Pinball, Bank Shot Pinball, Twilight Zone Pinball & Monopoly Pinball. I was most impressed with how prepared he came and the amount of different parts he had for the variety of games that I needed repaired. I was also very pleased with how fast he went through each game and found things that needed repairing that I wasn’t even aware of. All the games he worked on are 100% running great again, there is nothing like playing pinball when the game is working 100%. His knowledge of the different types of machine was great too since I have a Gottlieb Bank Shot Pinball Machine from the 1970's, newer pinballs from the 90's and 2000's. I will continue to use Eric for any needed repairs, and I would HIGHLY recommend Eric if you have any problems.
Eric - Thanks again for a wonderful job on all the machines, I would also like to thank you again for staying as long as I needed to get the games working for me! Keep up the great work and it was a pleasure doing business with you.
Thank You,

Dear Eric,
Thank you very much for coming to my house to do the repair on my pinball machine.
Eric drove all the way from Wilton to Groton to do a repair on my game. While fixing the game observed and corrected another problem with another feature of the game which would affect game play-a very good observance on his part! He was very fast and efficient in his work.
He was able to give honest answers on questions I had about my game, and pinball in general as he has a vast array of pinball knowledge, as I am new to pinball. I will be sure to call again when needed. Please feel free to use me as a reference.
Thanks again!
Sincerely,
J. Perry Groton, CT
